The BarberPolls Awards Gala and Symposium (BAGS) is an event for Barbers, Stylists, and the Clients they serve.

#BAGS2026BOSTON will uniquely illustrate and capture the purpose of leveraging barbershop and salon environments, for their resources, their individual skillsets, and their bold brand of showmanship!

All competitors receive:

– A BarberTimeRADIO DJ drop to play for 1 month.
– A competitors profile on the BarberTime.com event page.
– A social media announcement post.
– A name and shop mention in the post event press release.
– A portfolio of your performance!
In-Person Fade w/Beard OBC Barber Battle

Fade w/Beard Registration: $100 entry

Winner takes all, up to $1,000 & the OBC championship belt.

Only 10 slots avaiable. 6 competitors necessary for full $1,000 cash prize. Otherwise, winner takes home all entries ($500 minimum will be rewarded), and the OBC championship belt.
  • 1 Barber, with 1 model only.
  • 1  table, 1 bar stool/chair, with electricity.
  • You are responsible for all necessary equipment to perfom your entry.
  • Additional lighting is acceptable, and suggested. (1) lighting solution only.
  • Name and picture with link to your social media, listed on the event webpage before and later the event.
  • You must provide picture ID when you arrive.
  • All participants must arrive by 12n EST. Late arrivals will be disqualified.
  • Seating is first come, first choose.
  • There is no requirement for length of hair. You choose based on what you can perform your best work with.
  • Judging: The cut 80% – outfit & swag – 20%.  Winner is annouced 15 minutes after the competion ends.
  • Winner receives payment via Venmo, Zelle and PayPal only.
  • 2nd place receives a $200 BarberTimeRADIO promo blast.
Cut & Strutt Runway Battle

Cut & Strutt Runway Battle: $100 entry

Winner takes all, up to $1,000 & the Runway trophy.

Only 10 slots avaiable. 6 competitors necessary for full $1,000 cash prize. Otherwise, winner takes home all entries ($500 minimum will be rewarded), and the Cut & Strutt runway trophy.
  • 1 Barber/Stylist/Loctician, with 1 model only.
  • 1  table, 1 bar stool/chair, with electricity.
  • You are given only 4 minutes for your TOTAL LOOK reveal, and your model’s runway performance.
  • You are responsible for all necessary equipment to perfom your entry.
  • Additional lighting is acceptable. (1) lighting solution only.
  • Name and picture with link to your social media, listed on the event webpage before and later the event.
  • You must provide picture ID when you arrive.
  • All participants must arrive by 12n EST. Late arrivals will be disqualified.

Freestyle Design Barber Battle

Freestyle Design Registration: $100 entry

Student Registration: 4 FREE entries with the schools registration vendor booth purchase!

Winner takes the Student trophy and a $200 credit to their tuition!
